HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY
It has been over 10 years since we started bringing our cars to Bob and his talented team. Bob knows transmissions - he and his team of very experienced mechanics are experts. The first job they did for us was to replace the transmission on a car that had a history of transmission problems. Yet he replaced it, guaranteed his work and stood by his warranty. Bob gives his time generously to explain the problem and will do a diagnostic test for free. These are a few things that make his shop stand out from the rest. He road tests each time until he’s satisfied with the work, he shops around for the lowest cost on replacement parts (and passes the savings on to you) and doesn’t limit his services to just transmission repairs and maintenance. We were fortunate to have found his trustworthy auto shop just before my husband was called to active duty overseas after 9-11. We didn’t have to worry about being taken advantage, as I knew nothing about cars. The note cards from grateful customers displayed in his waiting room say it all.

Best Transmission Shop in the Atlanta area
These guys have been there on Buford Hwy. forever and we go way back. I wouldn't even think of taking one of my cars anyplace else. My first experience with Bob and Ben was back around 1992 with my Nissan pickup SEV6. Trany died about at about 120,000 mile, Ben overhauled it and I ended up putting 340,000 before it was retired. So I got more milage from his overhaul than I did from the new transmission from Nissan.
We have 5 cars in our family and I'm sure they have all seen Hi-Tech as one time or another. I never buy a used car without talking to Bob or Ben first and they usually inspect them for me before I buy.
I sent one daughter to them with her Toyota 4 runner that had 180,000 miles on it and I just didn't want to worry about her having problems. I called and told Bob she was on her way and "do whatever needs to be done". Something I would rarely tell a shop. That's just how much I trust these guys.
They drove the car and checked the fluid and said it needed nothing... drive it. OMG.
These guys are so fair and honest I have sent many friends to them over the years. They are always straight with you and fair. Can't go wrong here

This is the best place there is to get transmission work done in the Atlanta area. They are people you can trust! My Mazda was repaired at a fraction of what I thought it would be and I was prepared to have to pay much, much more. You can trust these people!!!
